Trunk Sub RMS
So I had the Sound Ordnance B-8PTD (it was ok) under my seat but have since removed it. I bought a Rockford Fosgate P300-8P for another car and instead threw it into the s2k trunk and also tried the spare tire location (no spare tire currently). Though it's probably not set up correctly I can barely feel it. So my next step is to get a bigger 10" or 12" sub and put it in the spare tire location or in the trunk. I know there's more to it but what RMS should I be shooting for?
For reference I have OEM door speakers and most of the fade to my amplified DB651's in the roll hoops. I also have an invidia N1 exhaust. In my old RSX the previous owner installed a 10" image dynamics sub getting 130 watts RMS that I really liked.
I'm far from an audiophile but I do like a some bass. I have also considered replacing the door speakers instead but I'd say I'm leaning towards a trunk sub
