tuning spods?
How loud should the spods be?
Should they be just loud enough so that front and rear is equally balanced in terms of volume?
My spods have i think are 3.5" alpine type r components in them. The front's i'm guessing are 5.25 or maybe 6.5? I'm not sure i can't see them and they were already installed when i bought the car.
Knowing that, what kind of filter should i haev on the front and rear? As of now i put the front on low pass and the back on high pass, but i didnt change the slider thing for the frequency...
any advice will be appreciated. I'm not expert so.

I will say this though...if your rear speakers are 3.5"s, you should set them on high pass at around 200hz or maybe even higher as they will not be able to handle any bass at all. Your fronts should be either full range if you have no sub, or also high passed at around 100-120hz if they're 5.25"s. I bet those aren't the correct speaker sizes though, as Hukares said typically you'd have 5.25's in the rear and 6.5's up front.
As for setting the levels, you want the rear speakers to just fill in the sound, but keep your sound stage forward. Ideally you want it to sound like the bands right in front of you with the lead singer sitting on your hood and the rear fill sounding like the reflections of the sound bouncing back at you from the rear of the auditorium.
