Default Tweeters Installed

I have a MY00 without tweeters so I spent about an hour and a half with a dremel installing these new tweeters.
They're Alpine sps-110tw, got them for $52 off amazon.
Just hooked the crossover to the existing speakers and they dont sound that bad. No more of the muffled music from my leg blocking the speaker. Drivers side is a bit close to the door handle cover but the passenger side is a little more forward.

I'll probably add an amp to them soon to get a little more juice from them.

They pivot 15 degrees in any direction so I point them towards the opposite seat's headrest. My original idea was to have them on the A-pillar but the housing is a little big in diameter and they would not have fit perfectly up there so I opted for the door handle, like I have seen in some previous threads.

The 2nd picture is sideways and I dont know how to rotate it on my phone.

How did you wire them in?

And what made you choose that location vs an oem location?

Just directly to the existing front speaker wires. Might run them off an amp instead. The oem location isn't exactly flat and I didnt want to work with curved surfaces so I went with the doorhandle. Also if I messed up it would have been less noticeable lower down than the oem location.

Stuck mine in the air vents. Worked great!

Hope never to need to do that again!
