Okay, so my stereo upgrades showed up this afternoon. Upon inspection, I realized there is one major problem... the amp is HUGE. About 15" x 12" x 2.5" to be exact. My original plan was to put the amp under/behind the passenger seat, but I suspect this won't fit. Other than taking out the spare, is there anyplace I'm not realizing this could go? I might just forget the stealthbox and return this amp for a nice, small 2 channel.

 

Also, a follow-up:

Would a 11 5/8" x 12 1/2" x 2 1/2" amp fit under the passenger seat, driver seat, or both/neither?

 

Try next to to the spare tire. I know my 300/4 fit there fine.

I never realized there was an empty space there before. I just went and checked it out... it MIGHT fit. I'm just worried about overheating in that small of space. That would be great though... might try it.

 

Haven't had a problem with overheating yet.. Im running kicker splits and an xtant 12 of a jl 300/4...
