Default Unexpected surprise with modifry unit

So I finally got a new radio (pioneer MVH-X560BT) and the modifry unit for my 01. Got it all hooked up blue tooth working and to my surprise Siri eyes free works with a quick press of the channel button. This is awesome. I don't have to even look at the radio. Only 1 small issue. Wind noise is a bit of a problem with the top down. But still it's a great unexpected feature.

Hmm...I'm curious to see if that'd work with Google Now, on a different Pioneer unit. Was hoping that I could use the DCI to input voice commands.

Where's your mic installed?

Right now it's installed on my visor. My wife says it sounds ok when I call her. But I'm going to try and install it on the steering column and see if it gets any better.

Steering column is better but no position helps with top down.

That's pretty slick, can't do that with my Kenwood unit + DCI.

For the rest of us there's a new feature in iOS 8 that let's you say "Hey Siri" when your phone is plugged in that will activate Siri voice commands.
