Default usa spec ipod interface

does anyone know if you can remotely shut off the ipod using the usa spec ipod interface?

I plan to put the ipod in my trunk.

What do you mean remotely? The ipod will eventually shut off when you turn your radio or car off in like one or a few minutes by itself if that's your concern.

I had one of those usa specs for a sony a couple of years back it did not perform consistantly for me and to return it. Got another one same deal..Worked just not all the time.

i agree, the NEO looks perfect, except a little pricey but i bet still worth it
