My v1 has *never* detected laser from a cop. It's really good at picking up Infinity cars, though!

 

I know that this sounds a bit strange but in my Escort 8500 and the whisler Rader I had before that... once in a blue moon when i rolled the windows up I had the Laser Detection go off.
I know, I know its not a V1 story, but I have a strage feeling something like a voltage drop in the system can set off the Laser...
I rrecall it happend last on a cold morining before the car was warmed up and I pushed to window down button. No other cars were around.

Just that I've had it happen in 2 cars and with 2 different units its my new scientific theory.

Any coments? (not about my 8500 vs V1 please)...

 

Chevrolet / GMC Envoy type vehicles do it too....but it's their brake lights. I seem to end up behind at least 2 every week on my way to work in the morning...fuggin' sux every time they hit the brakes!
