hey guys i'm debating between which one to go with. Does anyone have experience with both of them?

 

I am using Viper 5901 which is replaced by the Viper 5704 this year, do not have experience with the 5904 yet will soon get to install one thou.

Both alarm has the same brain and accessories, just difference in the 2-way remote.

 

The 5901 and the 5904 are identical, with the exception of the remote and antenna. 5901 has the black and white screen display, while the 5904 has the HD Full Color remote. If you really don't care about a remote with an LCD screen, you can go the cheaper route and get a 5701, which retains the 2-way capability on the remote, just without a LCD screen.

 

The Viper 5904, does it come with everything in the box that is needed to install? I checked on amazon.com and notice 3 other items but not sure it it comes with it.

Tilt Sensor, Audio Sensor and Window Automation System are all add on features that must be purchased separately. You will also need 1 standard relay to make the trunk release work via the alarm system.

 

Viper 5704, came out this year to replace the 5901, i have it, its awesome

The 5904 your pretty mich paying extra for the color screen
