But what i don't get is why would they price match from someone who is not an authorized dealer?

they don't care (i guess), so i take advantage of what the system gives me

I think they would sell at lower prices if they could, but to be an 'authorized' dealer many companies enforce MAP (minimum advertised prices). By having a very loose price matching policy, sounddomain can get around it while maintaining 'authorized' status.

aside from the PM policy, sounddomain also has very good service, and good order tracking too.

In most likelyhood, they are still making a profit, as they have very little overhead as a storefront shop would have; I have heard that car audio has a markup of 40 - 50%. Also, even if they lost a little, they have gained:
1. A new HAPPY customer.
2. Free "word of mouth" advertising; happy customers tell other potential customers of great place to do business, which in turn brings in more new business.

Not a very hard thing to figure out. It is basic sales 101.

Since they were an authorized dealer for the unit I bought, I wasn't going to "look a gift horse in the mouth."

I just love all these little sayings.

Speakers are VERY subjective. You should listen for yourself; listen to the type of music you will be listening to.

those types of screens are hard to fit in the S2K, the shift knob is in the way, as well as the radio door.
