Wee new speakers
So ive been thinking of an aesthetical and practical way of attaching rollhoop speakers for a while and theyve been laying around.
2 days of craftsmanship, a true pain-in-the-ass-procedure (main goal was to not have any screws visible anywhere at all) with most basic materials (about $20 including paint cost) and voila!
time to share the joy with s2ki
P.S: iphone camera, pardon quality

i was so tired of having my clutch leg blocking half the freaking volume... this is plain amazing in comparison
haha yeah. it's a huge difference. i sat in my friends ap1 with no roll hoop speakers and it just sounded so empty.
but he has a sub now to make up for it, i'm considering getting a rsx's spare tire sub just to add a lil more bass

I rock almost the same setup but I have seperate components with 6.5in. woofers and tweeters and finished them in a red vinyl that matches the red/black interior pretty well. With the other components in the door and a sub in a box in the toolwell and one amp driving them in the sparewell the system is enough with the top down.
the red is only on the front side and the rear is black like yours....

there was a guy on ebay selling these sandwich speaker mounts which is where I got mine.....he used a pretty thin mdf for the front and I broke it trying to sandwich them together. I decided to just upgrade them with a thicker mdf and made the improved set I use today. Thats when I decided to use the red Vinyl on the front side as well. I have been in a newer AP2 with the roll bar speakers.....there is really no comparison with stock roll bar speakers and an aftermarket speaker powered by its own sub right behind your head. I can cruise at 80 mph top down, windows down and still clearly hear the stereo.
