I've seen references to several (?) Alpine CD changers as well as the OEM Honda CD changer. I think the Alpine is a 12 CD changer, which is pretty useless with the stock radio (no way to access CDs 7-12). Are there any other CD changers other than the OEM one that will work with the stock radio?? I'm basically looking to save $ on the CD Changer - can't afford much more w/o a divorce after all the $ I've spent on my S lately!

 

Good luck. I looked into this myself with little success. There are several post of successfully finding an M-bus adapter to fit an aftermarket Alpine changer and vice versa with stock changer and aftermarket head unit. But when I located one it was round, not square as in my 2001. The company said at some point in time the connection type was changed by Alpine. I am in the process of putting in an aftermarket MP3 head unit and foregoing the cd changer. If interested I will be selling the changer for $250.
