i was not a fan of the older alpine amps, but i was lucky enough to experience the new amps by alpine that uses the darlington circuitry like the F1 amp.

soild, puts out a lot more power than what it is rated to do. i believe the 345 is rated for 75x4 but does around 105x4 at 14.4 volts. and the 545 is rated for 125x but puts out about 170x4 at 14.4 volts.

personally, i hate jl audio products, so obviously, im sure you know that i would not liek their amps.
