Default What to do now?

A few months ago, I added a 800 watt 2 channel amp and replaced my speakers with 220Watt 6.5 inch sony triaxles. My problem- I get great highs from the triaxles, however, if I turn up the bass at all, I will blow the speakers (has already happened), the seller/installation company replaced for free. I like a little base in my music. (by the way-I still use the OEM 01 head unit)

With a two channel amp, can I add back speakers to use as bass, and have the fronts as treble. I don't know what to do. Am I better off biting the bullet and replacing my triaxles with coaxles?

What's everyones advice
