What kind of speakers do you have in the doors and in the rear panel of your car? I am wanting to upgrade my stock system in my 2002 and am kind of unsure as to what to get...Any input would be appreciated! Thanks for the help!!

I got a pair of MB QUART RSC-216 components based on comments made here. Haven't installed them yet, though.

I'll wait for a few more people to chime in here... before I post (don't want to draw attention to myself)

Here's the easiest install for the door panels. Sony 1621's. They now have a 3-way, can't remember the letter suffix. Are they the best? Nope, but are a great improvement over stock and a perfect, no BS, perfect fit. I bought some Polk's that were supposed to be "drop in"; they weren't. Sounds like you are looking for a more sophisticated set-up. I wanted better sound, but a stock interior.

You might want to try a search... many of us have already posted our setups...

But I'll repost my junk here

I have CDT Audio HD63DT in the doors...
http://www.cdtaudio.com/Braxial.htm

I plan on putting either some MB Quarts or Boston Acoustics in the rear... haven't had time or money to do it thou....

The CDTs were a biatch to install... So, I don't really recommend them. But they do sound good... If your ever in the bay area your more then welcome to listen to them .

Okay, prosaic, run-of-the-mill, Sony Explod 1631's in the doors (minor cutting required, no biggie, complete instructions somewhere on this forum--thought in the FAQs, but not there), Lucid's rear panel with EX402a 4" Polks.

Maybe not too impressive for dedicated audiophiles, but a major improvement over stock and more than adequate for me.

Polk DX 3065 Components (6 1/2 " woofer in the doors, tweeters in the A-pillar)
Kenwood 75x2 rms
Infinity Basslink

I will add rear speakers in the spring. My S2000 is going into storage next week for the winter.
