Default WHAT SHOULD I DO ABOUT DRL?

Hi, i purchased a 2003 s2000 from the states, and i have to get it inspected here in canada in order to register it. One of the inspection steps is to check for the Daytime running lights. Now... i know that the s2000 doesn't have, as it is not required in the states but it is here in Canada. Furthermore, i like the non-DRL look, so i would like to keep it this way.

Is there anything i can do to SIMULATE DRL just for the inspection. In other words, cause i do something to just put the headlights on all the time as soon as the car starts and then once i pass the inspection, just remove (whatever it is i installed) (like a wire or something).

I went to honda, and they wanted to charge me 200$ for this stupid conversion.

Please help me out guys.

David

thats alot of work just to pass inspection.

you just need to jump a wire from the ignition wire to the highbeam headlight wire. since it is more than likely a daytime inspection, they probably will not notice the intensity of the beam? But either way, you should find out exactly what they are going to look for and simulate those.

I thought about just running a wire temporarly that would just leave the lights on all the time as long as the car is on. Do you know if this would work? How would i go about doing this, like where would i have to get the wire from? (i don't wan to blow the hid bulbs)

They are just going to check if they turn on when you turn on the car.... they don't care how bright it is.
