Hey, this is a bit of a noob question I know. In all honesty Im pretty clueless when it comes to car audio. In my previous cars Ive spent time and money on the mechanical and asthetic sides of the car and always had relatively stock stereos. Ive decided its time to invest in a decent stereo for my car. ALready Ive got some focal speakers and a sony x-plode head unit with a USB connection on it.

Basicly I want fairly decent and clear sound without having to spend too much money because Im on a bit of a budget. I figure I'll just get a single 4-5 channel amp to run both the speakers and sub from to save on space and money. However Im a bit clueless as to what amps/subs are good value for money. Ive been told the kicker ZX700.5 is a great value for money amp and Ive been looking at that. Would anybody know of anything of similar quality that I could pick up for a smaller price?

I run a Alpine PDX-4.150, its a class D amp so its small but im running 150 to each door and 300 to the sub. I have a Kicker L7 sub and it does ok with the power im putting to it.
