Default Where to drill hole for Ipod in glovebox

I am planning on moving my IPod that i have in my MY2000 S2K into the glovebox. Where do I drill a hole in the rear of the glovebox to work the wires through? How large should the hole be? Do I need to remove the entire glovebox to do this? And if so, any online help to do this? Any help would be much appreciated. I have been searching online for a help guide and reading posts but couldnt find any direct information for what I seek.

Well depending on which glove box your going to use(upper or lower) will decide on where to drill the hole. However either way there is no need to remove it. You can drill the hole from inside the trunk.

no need to drill if you are sticking in the bottom. i stick my ipod on the door with the spandex holding it in place and the wire can go through the door crack. it closes fine to.

I did not drill at all. I ran the cable through the gap near the door hinge.

I still have the RCA connector (no link to control from radio) and the cable is THICK. I'll see if it fits through the crack.
