Default Where to mount the Amplifier

I would like to see some pics or hear from others where they mounted their amplifiers. I am using a JL Audio stealth box so the trunk tire well is out of the question.

Check the install thread with pics at the top of this forum. Please do research before posting catch-all show-pic threads.... sorry to flame, but these pop up more than you would think, and there is like a 16 page thread with nothing but stereo installs at the top of this forum.

I bought my s2000 with an aftermarket amp installed under my passenger seat.. Mind you, it is only for the door speakers and not a sub but it is stealthy and functional. The wires appear to be ran under the carpet. It was a proffessional install and I am happy with it.

If you have a toolwell box, you might as well put the amp in the spare tire area and ditch the spare. The spare wont help you if you have nowhere to keep the flat.

You can also use a PAS2KNUT amp rack that goes all the way across the back of the trunk and makes a wall. Easily install 2 amps onto it.

BTW I have one for sale LMK

does it heat up the seats? Does it get enough ventiliation to where it doesn't overheat itself?
