Where is your crossover?
Thanks Magnus you answered all my questions.
When you used the quick connects, what color were the woofer wires? Did you splice these from the harness? My harness has 5 wires on the passenger side and 7 on the drivers side with a green connector.
Thanks Bob

I connected the input to the crossover to the factory connector at the factory speaker using a Crutchfield harness adaptor. I'm not sure of the colors, but there were only two wires at this plug. The plug I'm referring to is the one that connects to the factory woofer.
From the harness adaptor I ran a short length of wire halfway back the door and then put in blue quick-connects. I put opposite genders of the + and - wires to make sure I wouldn't swap phases. The same was done for the wires from the crossover to the woofers, but using different colored quick-connects.
The following summarizes the connections:
factory plug at speaker -> Crutchfield harness adaptor -> speaker wire -> quick connect -> speaker wire -> crossover input
crossover woofer output -> speaker wire -> quick connect -> speaker wire -> woofer
crossover tweeter output -> 8ohm resistor (+ side only) -> speaker wire -> tweeter

I just went and took the door speakers out and they have two wires behind the woofers. These two wires then would be the input to crossover. I'll need a Crutchfield harness that clips into the input wires, and then to the crossover (input).
New Woofer
I'll need to splice into the speaker wires from the input harness. Use a quick connect to the another set of speaker wires. These two wires go to my woofer crossover.
Tweeters
Question on the OEM tweeter connector. Do I use this or do I just wire the new tweeters using a resister and new wire to the crossover?
Did I get right?
