Hey guys,

Just wondering i baught some jl VR componet speakers, the VR600CSI at the time i thought the sales rep knew what he was writing down for me but now after double checking everywhere stats that s2000 have a 6.5" mount.

From Aus, is there any difference in the size of the speakers? in the aus spec.

you could probably make an adapter/spacer to make them fit, but that seems like a lot of hassle when the right product that does fit is out there...

you're likely to have to make a spacer anyway for the 2.44 in depth of the 6500CSI, but at least you're not worrying about adjusting the diameter as well...

i'd vote for bringing them back.

 

Oddly enough, the JL Audio web site lists the 6 inch as being the proper replacement. I imagine that is where the sales rep got the information.

 

yeah i called them up apprently they suggest to get brackets to be made roughly $20-40 AU each side. Im not sure if we can get the 6500CSI series that easily in aus or it might of been harder for the store to get it.

but i can't wait!

also got a 10w6v2 and a slash 500/1 to be installed, i can't stand the stock speakers!
