Need to hook up my alpine to MY04. If this cable fits then I don't need to splice/cut any wires.

it certainly sounds like it will do the job. the one word of caution is that
it probably does not have the dash control and mute wires to hook up a
DCI to retain your dash switches, though maybe it does. you can probably
get all the answers directly from Scosche:

It will cost you more but I would recommend checking out Modifry's site for the DCI with the Alpine plug and play adapter. Will allow you to retain the dash controls and have the same plug in with no splicing (unless you use the speed-controlled volume which will require one splice).

I used the modifry PnP harness with DCI and it made installation a breeze, highly recommend.

 

I went ahead and bought it. It had the same cable in it, but now I get all the dash controls too. I wish it was cheaper, but I have no remorse.
