No wireless drops on my side using the CP-71w however I had an external mic i hooked up to the new head unit and that doesn't seem to be working. I tried searching online and do not see the microphone jack specified anywhere (not even the owners manual)
Is anyone else using a wired mic to the physical jack on the head unit and is it working for them? Or is this a drain hole of some sort I am assuming to be an external mic hook up. (Bottom Right of the image - The Jack under the GPS antenna connection, Not to be confused with he SWC jack)
Is there an version of this that supports android auto? Really wanna replace my old Alpine headunit but I don't use an iphone.
I found a few on Amazon but they look slightly too large for the radio cover.

You can preorder the plug and play harness from modifry along with the DCI or you can use universal kits but seems like with those you have to do extra wiring to get things to work smoothly and seamlessly
I have been experiencing an issue where this head unit thinks I am touching the screen when in fact I am not. It starts sending Apple Maps arrival messages to my contacts. After a drive I'll see that it has sent numerous arrival notifications to my contacts. I was wondering if anyone had a similar issue and if so what the resolution was.
In case nobody saw, you can upgrade this unit to work with android auto. The new firmware also has the ability to load a custom image which I saw someone ask about. I upgraded firmware and it was quick and easy. I could not find a 16gb thumb drive so used a 4gb formatted as FAT32 using a windows command prompt. If any one had questions, let me know.
