For the people looking to have functioning dash controls PAC SWI-RC1 work perfectly! luckily i had spare connector and depinned two male terminals and pin them to 3 and 14 on the connector (universal honda radio connector) going to dash harness. you also could just tap the dash harness if you don't have extra terminals. you need to set the dip switch to Kenwood and you're good to go. found it to be more responsive than modifry and is currently on sale on amazon. i found all the info on S2k talk & tech on facebook per user Jst T Que just reference that post for your install
for those with intermittent wireless CarPlay issue i found resetting your network settings on your phone seems to help but unfortunately my iPhone 11 pro still drops from time to time but far less maybe a few time during the 1 hour drive cycle. i came to the conclusion it's a phone issue due to my iphone 11 being pretty old with the latest iOS. verified with my friends iPhone 15 pro that his wireless connection is very stable and a lot faster.
emailed PA tech to see if there is a firmware update or if they came across any similar problems at this point id probably upgrade my iphone and report back
Can you elaborate how it’s more responsive than Modifry - I’m assuming significantly quicker?
Most seem to be waiting for the Modifry release I guess the benefit is fully plug and play and no splicing into any OEM wires if I’m understanding correctly.
No splicing into OEM wires. The generic Honda plug and play harness does not have pins in the #3 and #14 location for dash controls. You can either buy another $6 patch plug or de-pin and transfer the pins to the empty slots so the SWC box of your choice can talk to the car.

I have an iPhone 15 pro and mine still drops. Curious to hear if PA has some sort of resolution for this. Keep us posted on what they say.
pressing the dash controls has no delay compared to modifry, for example changing modes would have a delay or wouldn't work and sometime pressing multiple times ait would glitch. we did use an old modifry dci and couldn't figure out how to get it to operate properly as our mode and channel buttons were flipped. the PAC system is on sale and i would highly recommend as most of my friends and i swapped over at $40 cant go wrong. last adding pins to #3 and #14 is easy as you can take it off your old connector by depinning with a needle or pin and connecting it your new connector which will make it plug and play. if you haven't depinned a connector before you can just tap those wire on the dash harness side whichever is easier for you
interesting did you trying resetting your network settings on your iphone? i did try my friends phone for about 20-30 minutes of driving and it didn't drop i just assumed it was my phone but ill try get a better test with my friends iphone 15. for some reason in his car with PA unit its very stable and he doesn't complain about the connection maybe we have defective units. ill keep yall posted if and when they get back to me its been a few days and nothing
