Wiring Problem?

Some decks have a fuse on the remote. Is that good? Make sure any fuses stuck in the rear of the deck are good too.

I Do have one but we pretty much figured out that it's the remote lead wire. So now i'm asking how do I fix it.

yea the point of the multimete is to see if the deck is still putting out the 12 volt signal. cause if it is than u have a cut or pinched wire somewhere. U need to start at that...

You can hook the remote wire to the acc on in the car but ur gonna get a loud popping sound everytime you turn it on. So its best to use the multimete and see if its putting out 12volt at the deck. Make sure u cut the remote wire off and then just test it at the deck, incase the remote wire is grounding somewhere.

Haha this is a lot of work. It's a lot of work pulling out the deck and tucking the wires nicely to get the deck back in. But I will hopefully have time this weekend to check on that. Thanks for the help.
P.s if the deck isn't putting out 12v for the signal is there anyway to fix that?
