I have a question about grounding the HU. Isn't the antenna the ground already?

No not really You must properly ground the headunit, to the steel of the car. The body panels don't count

i noticed in one of the pics the wire was feed into the trunk on the passenger side. i just got a sirius plug and play radio and wanted to run the antenna wire into the trunk to mount on the back of the car between the trunk and top. is there a hole like that on the drivers side?

Yup sure is. But there's a lot of power running on the side of the car though.

ok so after i run the power wire from the driverside, how do i move it over to the passenger side to where the spare is. under the dash behind the headunit?

there seems to be no opening connectint the drive and passenger side without cutting a panel to run though?

can anyone get some detailed pics.

i want to run a small 450w system but im afraid my battery will die out faster.
anyone run into weak battery problems yet?

Run the wire into the trunk down the drivers side then you can install the power wire to where ever you need to once its in the trunk.

Yeah there's an opening on both sides.

No problem
