is WLAURENT still in bizness
because im thinking about his sub boxes. and what 10" subs work best in them? Or a custom box. theres a shop said they could do a fiberglass one for $350 pluse supplys . is that a good deal ?
I think the subs that would work "best" would require a smaller enclosure. Just search some sites and look at specs for different subs. The one with the recommended box size that is closest to WLAURENT's box would be best.
I think Dave would know more about this....NFRs2000NYC (i think).....I remember someone saying that Audiobahn has a good one and so does alphasonik.

last i talked to William was about a month ago. he was doing well and still selling enclosures.
$350+supplies is a rip off for a single enclosure, imo. William's run for $175+shipping.

I spent alot of time talking to him and to distill...get the ones he sells. He has tested many and only few will work in that enclosure since it is sooooo small. Personally, I am getting the ED OV11 which is a 10'' cone since its more musical. For more bass, get the Audiobahn. I think a few others have successfully used JL audio, but I believe only on the 8inch.
Hope this helps.

his box is very small (volume wise) and isn't exactly super deep. there are very few 10" subs that can work in .3-.4 cu ft and have a depth of 6.125" or less.
between William and the EJ's here, we've looked long and hard for 10" subs that will work in that box, as originally it was only practical w/ 8" subs. the few 10" subs that William lists are just about the only ones out there that even exist that can work in his enclosure.
if you think you might know of a 10" sub that will work, email William and he'll probably look at it. but know that it should be able to work in a sealed enclosure of .3 to .4 cu ft, have a depth of 6.125" or less, AND have a smallish diameter magnet and basket structure.
