i've talked to William about some of his more difficult implementations. the W6v2 is a pretty dang deep sub. i THINK it is something that can fit in his enclosure. i know some of what he has fit in there, and i know it was a very tight fit. so, i know the 6v2 is slightly deeper (like .1" or so). however, for something that marginal, he's gonna need it to get the fit right.

i'd plan to ship him the sub....

ive never heard the Image Dynamics sub mentioned here

ID8v.3

# Size: 8 inch
# Rec. Sealed Box Dims: 0.20 - 0.45 cu.ft.
# Rec. Ported Box Dims: 0.50 - 0.70 cu.ft.
# Free Air Usage: yes
# Mounting Depth: 4.75"
# Mounting Diameter: 7.125"

the area is perfect.. AND it could run free-air if you really need the space

requires only 50-300 W RMS

100$... for more boom you could even use their 10"

the elemental designs sub is essentially an image dynamics subwoofer. never had experience with edesign but i enjoy all the image dynamics subwoofers.

I had 8" square Kicker's in my old S2000 (4 years ago):

Don't know if they make them anymore, but I was happy with them.
