Default Woofer recommandation needed.

I'm looking to get 1 12" woofer installed in my custom box (0.96cft of airspace) Powered by an ARC Audio 2100CXL bridged to 280W RMS I think...

What woofer would you guys recommand?

Alpine Type R. Great sub, 300rms, which is perfect in your case, clean hitting, and pretty inexpensive.

u actually get 380x1@ 4ohms bridged rated at 13.2 volts. i would reccommend the image dynamics IDQv.2 12 or the ARC Audio D2 12. both drivers are very very similar. i have heard that image dynamics makes the woofers for ARC, if that matters.

from ur box specs, i am guessing its sealed because u have no port freq. listed, .96cuft would be good, if i recall correctly, the IDQv.2 12" needs .70cuft - 1.0cuft.

i have had the arc audio sub before and i enjoyed it alot. it was a very accurate sub that also had a lot of output for its kind. it was also hooked up to an
ARC 2100cxl, which will be like ur setup. i dont think u can go wrong with either sub, but from wut i c, a lot more people have the IDQ.

oh yea, i would take the IDQ or the ARC over the alpine anyday, more accurate and more output. costs about the same, not too much difference
