Would S-Pods compliment my system?

I've pondered both alternatives myself, and I decided to go with the S-Pods on my MY04. My reasoning? I don't know if there's any actual evidence to back up my thinking, but a speaker designed for rear sound (both bass, mids, and highs) would be muffled if the speaker fired directly into the seat. I could see this being a possibility especially if listening to talk rado or something like that while doing 70 down the highway.
There is evidence to back this up, but don't take my word for it...I'm not exactly un-baised. A few people have up-graded from cut panels fireing into the seats to S-Pods. I'll ask them to offer their un-biased opinoins.

^ I think there is even a sound clip out there somewhere to back this up. I'll try to find it.

Im ready to go with the S-Pods, now I just need a component set. Im thinking of the Type-Rs, I only hear good things. Like I have told other people, I dont want to put a cap on my system, I am tired of replacing already replaced parts, so I want to do it right this time.

Mark, Philip noted that the Type-Rs had a pretty low sensitivity rating, and that this would keep the HU from really getting them going. Do you know of any other speakers that may have a higher sensitivity? I found the XR series for 225 shipped, which I could spring for if it would be good to match my components. They have a sensitivity of 89.5.

I think Phil could better answer this than I could.

Philip came up with the Infinity 5000CS components.

Do you have any opinions on those Mark? The specs seem great, but I found out the hard way that they dont mean much sometimes.

For what it's worth, those are the speakers going in my S-Pods. Only mine won't be new. Naturally, I think it's a match.
