Default Your expert advice needed

I need some help, I have done a search on alarm systems and one thing turned up that scared me, someone stated that a Nokia cell phone can disarm some after market alarms and that a magnet over the hood can kill alarms also.
So I'm wondering which alarm system does not have these issues, and is it better to go with the factory alarm and add Prox sensors.

My brother inlaw works for a dealership and knows the owner of the company that they use to install alarms and he told me I can get a Viper with Prox for $150 installed. I rather spend a little more if it ensures that a Cell or magnet wont get passed the alarm. Thanks for your advice.

Technically yes, a Nokia phone can be used to disarm a DEI alarm. It isnt an easy thing to do, and your average neighborhood hooligan wont be able to do this. In this day in age, cars dont get stolen like that. They get stolen with towtrucks. Much easier and noone suspects anything. As for an s2000, people dont really steal it. They steal parts from it that are worth serious money. I just dont park my car in bad areas where an alarm would be necessary. If you do want an alarm, get a compustar.
