I was able to hit 8600 without any problem in several gears. rev limiter worked as it should @ 8600.

My bet is anything higher than 8800 is when I will have an issue. I will note the power dropS off above 8600 is pretty substantal (due to ap2 cams), but I will need this sorted out before I go turbo as my 6265 will easily make power much higher.

Its odd... I drove it for a day at least and never had a problem at 9200. The next day it did it only twice. Then the next it did it more.

I'll peg the revlimiter all the way home from work tonight. haha. I kid. But seriously, Wadzii thinks it could have to do with the overrun settings. I'll make some adjustments per his instructions when I get off work.

so 8600 rpm is fine all night long. tomorrow I'll correct the overrun settings and set it back to 9200 and see what happens.

LOL! that explains it....
I'm going to trow this out there, is it possible that under certain barometric pressure (high) & high airflow (high RPM) the airflow aerodynamically close the throttle blade?
Is the throttle blade at 90 degrees physically or a little bit more angled up or down at WOT, ie; the airflow pressure could force it closed if the motor is not strong enough to maintain it at it's commanded position.
Just a tough...

I don't see what the overrun settings could have to do with the throttle plate. Aren't you actually seeing the TPLATE percent go to zero in the datalogs when this happens?

Tplate does drop to zero. The overrun tables stop at 8600.. just a thought..
