no dice w overrun set to 9500. It kills the throttle right at 8800.

Interesting problem. Hondata's latest post seems to hint that they are aware of a potential cause but my guess is the fix could be something they could implement in a software update. Hope you guys get this straightened out.

and LOL @ Wadzii with AEM fix lol! you really do dislike Hondata haha

lol, at least when an aem ems does something other than what I tell it to do we KNOW there is something wrong and can send it back. With hondata.. its supposed to do things you dont tell it to do..

I don't think Hondata hinted at a fix at all, since he said that the S2000's throttle behaviour can't be modified at all.

Now I'm really confused. Since this is an n/a car, we know the problem isn't related to pressure. Now they're saying its not related to RPM...so what is it? How do you this...

...if the FlashPro cannot change throttle behavior? Does the ECU command the throttle module to move a certain percentage? Seems impossible with this statement:

Something doesn't add up.

Our issue turned out to be the alternator. Voltage was dropping at high rpms

I've received 2 emails about this issue today! The throttle plate sticks at 9%, and the engine dies. I’m guessing both were due to a glitch in a beta version of FlashPro Manager.

Any resolution on this issue? I just received my Hondata Flashpro and installed the software in anticipation of performing the "stock Hondata reflash" later this evening or later this week. The software prompted me to download beta version 1.6.1.0, but I stuck with the current 1.5.6.0 version for now in light of these posts. Please advise which version I should proceed with. Thanks.
