If they decide to make one for the AP1 and early AP2 model years, I'm definitely interested. I had one when I had a Subaru as well..

Like I said in a few posts above people need to stop worry about whether it is possible or not or how Cobb would go about it and leave that to them to figure out.
Ignorance is bliss I suppose.

After your post several people who did not have tunable ECU's posted they were in. So when the product is made and doesn't work with their car they come back to this thread and complain "Why can't Cobb make an AP for my car! Boo Hoo."

^I agree with your point but I'd honestly like to see this come out even if it doesn't work for my car. I honestly doubt that 99% of these people are sitting here waiting to see if Cobb makes this before they buy parts. I've got an 05 so even if it only works for 06+ I'm screwed as well but doesn't mean I wouldn't like to see Cobb get it going.

We all are ignorant of wether Cobb has to desire to produce anything for ANY s2000, whether it be AP1, or AP2, or 06+. If we gain enough interest, they will let us know what they are capable of. It hasn't been stated that AP1's are "unflashable", only that they aren't through the ODB port's. Perhaps there are other means for flashing.

There's a good market for the s2000, i just don't think Cobb can do anything with it.

^I'm glad someone has my back. Trust me there is a a way to reprogram the ecu for every single s2000. Mugen and J's racing have found a way somehow to do it. The older ones might not be flashable through the odbII port but there has to be someway to reprogram them or they might require a daughterboard to be put in place. I know a lot of older cars work that way as my friend does a lot of tuning for them.
