Cobb will need to break/crack the algorithm first, it will likely require opening up the ECU and soldering on a socket or piggy backing onto the original chip.

Agreed, but what makes you think Honda wouldn't give this info to Cobb? I realize Mugen and J's are Honda only companies but still. If they've done it once they'd do it again. Not saying they will but I wouldn't rule it out.
