I agree. Competition almost always yields better products, meaning a better customer experience. Wether you are partial towards Hondata or AP, it benefits everyone when people have multiple options.

Keep the bumps coming!

I'm definitely interested if we could see similar gains as the Civic Si.

I'm down!! It would be the one and only sticker I'd add to my car...since Cobb is my last name!

I wouldn't expect gains to be anything amazing with the base maps consider they need to be safe no matter where you live. Also just from knowing how cobb was with the subaru the off the shelf stuff is most likely going to require you have the stock airbox and stock header. A catback/testpipe shouldn't make enough difference to throw things off drastically.

The biggest thing this does do though is open up the ecu for easy tuning so that when you put an intake or header on the changes can be made properly and the ecu will be reflashed in such a way that it'd think that all the mods you've got are what the car came with from the factory. Should they have their race beta software available if they made one for the s2k it would mean we could go in and edit the maps ourselves (at your own risk of course) or take it to somewhere that tuned the accessport.

Ever since I saw they had this for the civic si I started to have some hope they'd make it for the s2k. I was 110% happy with mine when I had the subaru and that was the original version 1 accessport. Should cobb get this out it really would give us a cheaper alternative to hondata or full standalone.

I want one, and make sure it has the ability to control i-vtec, I think that will become a popular mod.
