Both arm and kpro/flash pro read the map sensor

MAP = manifold absolute pressure

So yes anything that reads the map sensor will read boost. The stock sensor is good to 10 psi. Beyond that you will need to upgrade

Since Hondata still gives us the finger on any type of failsafe measure, would hooking up a boost solenoid and then programming it to bleed boost from the diverter valve be an effective measure when the AEM Failsafe detects a lean condition and triggers the failsafe ground?

Possibly yes, I know the parts are out there to run this kind of system, but I’m pretty certain that anything less then the big 50mm Tial BOV isnt going to be able to evacuate enough pressure either quick enough, or at all to be a real effective failsafe measure, but I could be wrong. I'm just going off of some circumstances ive experienced with sizable boost leaks where clamps and couplers have come off and seeing how the afr and boost was effected and the size of our Bosch recirc valve under normal dump conditions not being optimized for that duty. I think your charting into territory where not many of us have dealt with so I think its going to be up to you to do go for it and do a little trial and error, see what you can achieve. I had ordered up one of these electronic vac solenoids from one of the water/meth companies and was going to rig something up but ended up changing plans and never saw it through.

Say between 8-9k leaking even 1 psi would be able to help smooth out if it goes .5-1 lean right? Im definitely looking into experimenting with the option since nothing really exists for us kpro dudes. The other possibilities with the failsafe were to ground out afew spots but the optimal thing to ground doesnt seem to be known to tuners ive spoke to.

Y'all are making this way to complex

Run the fail safe to a relay powering the boost control solenoid. If it hits fail safe it'll drop boost to the spring

If turbo then ya but would it be as effective with a supercharger?

Wastegates work on blowers as well

use a 60mm wastegate and a fairly soft spring with a boost control soleniod.

Any chance the bosch valve would be of any use? I just want it to drop enough boost when activated to take it outta the danger zone if that happens to occur. I had the Turbonetics Godzilla on there but took it off cause I got tired of the noise.
