I am also in the process of picking up a boosted s2k and he is runnin aem ems V2. And it sucks because in MA you will not be able to get a emissions sticker at all. So that is one thing holding me back on buying the car

I am in the process of converting my ap1 to a drive by wire ap2 setup with then hondata management.
I have a open box sale for a arm EMS series 2 30-6052 on eBay. http://bit.ly/10YO53j
I know they are hard to find at a reasonable price, listed opening bid for $850.

I am running Trackforged kit @ 14psi daily driving on Kpro. It has been dead reliable other than few minor annoying rattles, which I think has more to do with my motor mounts than the kit!

I'm a noob when it comes to ecu tuning, so forgive me for asking this question.

You all use hondata, kpro, and flash pro interchangeably. I used to own an rsx and know that there are different kpro's for different model year ecu's. And from what I have read on here flash pro is only for 06+ s2000's.

So my question is what specific engine management computer(s) model will work on an 04 ap2? I want to retain my obd2 function.

I see 00-05 s2000 kpro on hondata's website, is that the only option from hondata for an 04?

Edit: also saw you have to swap all this, is there another way to tune your ecu without all this bs?

to retain obd2 compliance you will have to get Hondata for the s2k and swap all the necessary parts. I had AEM EMS and it wasn't the most user friendly, when i go back to forced induction i'll be swapping everything to run Hondata

Thanks for the reply. So that kpro is the only one from hondata for an 04?

I couldn't tell from their site, but would I have to acquire an rsx ecu or is that the part number for the m.y. 04 s2k ecu?
