Default AEM Infinity Connector

Hi

would like a bit of info from anyone in the know, i have picked up Aem infinity 7108 and need the connector plug to start my loom.

having a look through AEM User manual page 14 - Click here for aem manual is says for series 5 ecu infinity c1 80pin - 30-3704 Infinity Series 5 Plug & Pin Kit Bare necessities to begin a custom wire harness design. Includes 80-pin Molex MX123 harness connector, terminals and sealing plugs, main relay and relay socket.

so im taking it as a MOLEX 80 pin MX123 with associated pins ( buying a plug and play loom is a bit much £300+ ) i have made looms before so im not new to wiring just new to the infinity and connector

MX123 80 pin

Thanks Mike

I think I'd just pick up the s2000 harness for $300-$350 and call it a day.

Thanks for posting the connector, I'm sure that will help someone in the future.

Post pics when you're done. It would be interesting to see your take on it. The AEM solution is a bit clunky. The SoS solution is compact and nice and was worth the extra money to me.

If the only goal is to save money, I still don't think that this is really worth DIY'ing as that connector set alone is 10% of the cost of the professional harness. By the time you buy the rest of the connectors, wire, loom, heat shrink, shipping costs, any special crimpers etc, you will be lucky to save 100-150 bucks. To each their own though.
