Default AEM series 2 questions

I just took a look at the series 2 software and have a couple questions. I come from an S300 background.

1. With S300(and any OBD1 software that I know of) you have 2 separate tables for fuel and timing; one for the base table and the other for VTEC. Does this software not have this? You just use the same table for both? It's not a problem, I just want to confirm this.

2. Open loop, Closed loop, STFT, LTFT? I see no reference to any of these. Does the computer just run off the maps and compensations(aka open loop)?

3. What's the best way to wire in a AEM UEGO?

I'm sure I'll have more technical questions later down the road, but these are it for now. Thanks.

Here is a copy of one of my posts in another thread about the aem UEGO install....

Use a 10a fuse on the power(red) wire. If you look at the fuse box, there are three male prongs on the middle left hand side of the box that are open. The bottom of the three is ignition. This is the best "free" place to get power. here is what it looks like: Power!
Hope that helps. Also there is 4 wires that come back out of the gauge.
They are:
Red- Power
Black- Ground(there is one right to the left of where i told you for power where there are several ground wires)
**White- 0-5v signal for AEM or other EMS(this will need to be spliced into C16 (the stock O2))
**Blue- serial for data logging(again aem or other ems)

**Note(optional wires): if you arent using the two optional wires and are only using the power wires to make the UEGO work to monitor your A/F's then make sure to either tape off or us liquid tape on the extra wires (white and blue) dont just leave them!

Also the face of the gauge has a light sensor so it will dim itself!

Just installed the wideband and it was by far the easiest wiring I've done. Thanks again.

as far as the dual tables go, the aem software only has one table. it's not setup like the oem honda ecu's to have a seperate fuel and spark table for the low and high cam.

it's one of the reasons i went with haltech instead of aem.

if you really want seperate fuel/ign tables you can use the vtec pressure switch to activate the nitrous maps. There are a few setups that require this, most dont.

I was just making sure I didn't over look them. Should be fine with the single maps.
