Default AEM v1 hunting idle on warm start?

Hi,

Is there something I can adjust to stop the revs hinting on a warm start? It settles down eventually but it's annoying as hell. It doesn't do it on a cold start. Any clues?

Thanks

Are you talking about the AEM 1052?

Have you already tried, https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/246...h-the-aem-ems/

hi - cheers, my idle is a steady 950 once it settles. It's just when I warm start it plays up before it settles down.

It's just an annoyance really.

I am fighting idle surging. Idle is set higher I'd guess 1200 to 1300. Surges from 1200 to 2500 back and forth. Thought it was iacv but that was cleaned and seems to function fine. I can get it to settle at 1200 if I lightly engage clutch and ease it down.

1000 Id injectors and haltech on e85.

Id say because you are out of range of your IACV. Why do you want that high of idle. My friend has a aggressive cam and still at 850-900rpm. And injector size doesn't matter heads up. Try following my guide to adjust your idle and values.
