Default AEM V2 install on ap1 help

I have a 2001 s2k, I am about to start my turbo build, This will be my first time and while I am not worried about the hardware install like manifold, turbo, injectors, fuel pump, intercooler, clutch ect... I have never hooked up a AEM V2 or any stand alone like this before. I am generally pretty good with wiring like stereos but never anything like this. Can anyone that has done this before share some tips, or walkthroughs? I dont know where to begin sadly. Any help is greatly appreciated. Please keep the negative comments to yourself.

It's plug and play. You remove your current ECU, plug in the AEM V2 in the same manner that you unplugged your OEM one.
If yours comes with the D connector, awesome! If it does not, get it off SummitRacing along with the pins for it. I think they're the small if I remember right.

As far as wiring things into it, depends on what. Google search it, there's a few posts on how to do it. You splice one of your pins and plug in the wideband, power the sensor using either an Add a Fuse or into the D conenctor (I recommend this).
Same goes for FlexFuel, boost gauge, etc.

Diagram for the D connector is in this post somwhere: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/s2000-fo...em-v2-1183838/

Thank you max, ya so far all im gonna run is a wideband and oil pressure for gauges, may add boost later if I find a spot I like to do so. Ill have to look and see did mine come with the D connector, honestly have not even taken it out of the box yet, still waiting for all turbo kit parts to come in.

My recommendations are:

1. Get the ECU out of the box and plug it in using a plug-n-play harness. Maybe even start on base file if you’re tuning savvy.

2. Ground offsets, you’re wiring in additional sensors? Google sensor ground offsets. Learn about that and make sure they’re grounded to the right pin.

3. Ground offsets, don’t mess with your Wideband, if you can’t ground to an official sensor-ground pin, then I highly advise against analog LAMBDA sensor signal, so go with serial or CAN if you can... not sure AEM V2 supports CAN tho.
