Basically my S2000 ECU (37820-PCX-U06) is not compatible with Hondata, despite being a MY06 Drive-By-Wire S2000 (KO56DFP). It has been confirmed by Hondata email reading "Because there has been no R&D on this and it is not something we plan to do." Top customer service there!

So my question is what are my other tuning options? new ECU? or alternative?

You could get into contact with the people at KTuner and see when they are going to be releasing something for the 06-09 S2000.

Thanks for this, but after growing impatient I have just decided to buy an OEM ECU from a post 2006 S2000. It means less work and the only thing that needs doing is key reprogramming which I will get sorted.
