This Doctronic ECU works right weel
Very easy to configure. In some minor points, it has less options than an AEM EMS because it is made to be more simple.
The good point is that Doctronic mail support is good, and they keep developping that software and adding features over the time (like the useless crackle mode that was added recently).

Which Doctronic unit did you go with? Ballade seems to have two of them now, one's $2500 the other is like $1300.

Unfortunately they are the only US distributor for it...

The only one that I can fin on their website is this one:
https://balladesports.com/products/d...deb902cb&_ss=r
And this is the only one that exists for the S2000

However, I can't find all the extra options on the Ballade Sport website, and there are a few one that are usefull. Here is the whole package that Doctronic can provide:

In my case, I have the expansion box (for my oil T + oil P + fuel P sensors), and the wifi module (to use the android application on my phone to monitor the ECU).
I think you should contact Ballade if you want some of these options.
Check Doctronic - smart solutions - ProECU-K for more information.

I also just got my ProECU-K-S2000. Installation was fairly easy. 10 minutes to remove some covers, unplug OEM ecu, insert ProECU-K-S2000.

Now I am looking for a tuner, maybe doctronic himself. But he seems to be a little pricey.

@pizzai69 Are there any handy/nice features that you enabled on the ECU? So far I didn't really play around with it. Anything that is a must have to try/use when buying this ECU?

What I really like with this ECU is having external sensors (oil, fuel) wired to it, setup with failsafes, and monitored on my android phone via wifi.
Other features of this ECU are quite common: flexfuel, launch control, pop&bang/crackle...

This looks to be a great replacement for the Greddy Emanage that is discontinued. It seems to be new and not used in the US though so far.

I'm currently trying to find a used setup since he is out of stock for the foreseeable future of E-Manages.

I can't change up the topic I'm still very happy with my E Manage and Remote Tune

But

https://balladesports.com/collection...sor-conversion

This just came out 700 for harness + Hondata nice us AP1 guys are getting simpler Hondata Conversion without changing over sensors
I have not tested it but good to know we have more options out there

I saw that as well. If I could buy it from someone else, I would. I just do not trust Ballade after the stuff I have been through.

I was told they would get stock in 3-4 weeks.. no idea how true that is.
They said just keep checking the website.

With everything I know you'd have to be crazy to pick the V2 over an Infinity or a Haltech.

If you need OBD2 function (like me) then Kpro or Doctronics is the way to go, but they are compromised compared to an Infinity/Haltech.

As a tuner that's tuned both of these ECU's on S2000's as well as other cars... V2 is my choice, and I know the Infinity very well (as well as the problems that AEM will never fix). I still run a v2 on my car.
