Default Car stalls for no reason.

Ok so my tune seem pretty good for teh most part. But every once in a while it'll stall while idling....

I'll be at an intersection, and my will be hvoering around 1000-1400 rpm, and the afr's will be hovering around 14-16:1.

Then all of a sudden the AFR's will go off the guage lean and my car will stall. It'll start right back up, but this is getting annoying.

Does anybody have any ideas? It was doing this when I got the car back, and we then turned the idle up a little and it seemed to help the problem, but now it's back.....

Where should I start looking in my tune?

did you follow my advice and look up idle tuning procedure in the aem manual. It literally takes 15 minutes and you can idle at 500 and not worry about stalling.

You may need to reprogram the idle motor control every time you make a change to the fuel map around idle or change compensations that may affect idle afr's

my apologies, the manual comes installed with you aem pro. go to your aem pro folder on you hard drive. The manual can be found in a subfolder called instructions. It is called aem efi basics and is 200 pages long.

If you are attempting to tune on your own I would read the manual first and then come back with any question you may have.

Ok, I have the series 2 , which didn't come with those manuals with teh aem tuner software.

I downloaded the AEM pro and I now see the manual. I will try the idle instructions that are included.

Thank you.
