Default DBW throttle plug

Does anyone know where I can buy the plug for the DBW throttle as I am wanting to convert over to one?

Matt

you are going to need A LOT more than just the plug. YOu have to have the ECU, throttle controller, engine harness. TONS of work.

I'm running a motec M800 so won't need any of the other honda parts. I would like to run a honda dbw throttle so just need a plug to make the loom up.

Find a scrapped 06+ wiring harness, chop off the connector.

Yep looked into that and it's £2-300 over here for a loom. A lot of money for what is basically a £5 connector at the most! Would be nice to just find the connector as it must be made by one of the main companies. I guess it must be the same as the ones on the civic etc!

It will be the same for the Civic, correct. Also the TSX and accord too. The newer J35/J37 dbw engines also use the same connector. See if you can find a scrapped car at a wrecker's. Should be easy to find.

Will have to see what else runs it over here in the uk. Still be nice to just find a brand new plug with pins.

Honda uses a lot of sumitomo connectors, see if you find the part number

This is a good source to connectors in small quantities:

I've given up looking for a honda plug, I have ordered a used vw golf R32 throttle body and pedal assembly. Just got to make a couple of adapter plates to fit but easy really. Also both of those bits are half the price of just a used honda dbw throttle body. Plus the r32 one is 80mm so it will suit my plenum as it's machined out to 74mm already.
