Deatschwerks 800cc injectors AEM EMS V2
Hi all,
My Deatschwerks injectors show that they have a min opening time of 1.2ms
1999-05 : 800cc Fuel Injectors | DeatschWerks
I have the offset table set up correctly but the one annoying thing i have always experienced is that when the injector time gets to 1.7ms it starts getting very lumpy and the idle becomes hard to stabilise. This has caused me to set a higher idle speed and i can get it to idle at 14 AFR quite smoothly. In an ideal world it would be quite nice to have a lower idle speed and a leaner mixture.
This also causes the car to run quite rich when first depressing just a tiny bit after a sustained amount over run. It jumps to 13 and then leans off thanks to the O2 feedback.
Not a massive issues but interested to see if anyones got some solutions to this issue? I have heard messing with the offset can dial the injectors in but i would rather not do that unless its essential.
