Disable Evap in kpro

Default Disable Evap in kpro

Is there a way to disable the evap system in the kpro? Do i even need the evap system?

pretty sure it's automatically disabled, if you are talking about the airpump thing in the front bumper

EVAP and the airpump are different systems.

I believe the EVAP system (this purges fuel tank vapors back in to the intake manifold for emmissions purposes) still functions normally with the K-Pro. There is no advantage to disabling it. Hondata chime in???

The airpump ("injects" fresh air into the exhaust to help bring the catalytic converter up to operating temperature faster and thus reduce emissions on cold start) is automatically disabled by using the K-Pro ECU. You may remove the airpump and associated components without getting a CEL.

Well i dont care about emmissions so is there a way to disable EVAP?

I'm not positive if it is disabled with the rest of the OBDII functions or not...anyone else know?

im pretty sure evap doesn't work on the kpro considering that you use the evap solenoid to actuate boost control inside of Kpro

well when i removed it to clean up the engine bay, i got a check engine light. i guess i have to put it back on.

I have obd2 turned on with a boost controller and I throw no CEL
