Default Flashpro : Blank datalog file

Has anyone had an issue with FPM loading a blank file?
My flashpro has the datalog but when I download and safe it to my laptop, it's just a blank file.
I data logged 7 calibrations but for some odd reason, datalog-4 is a 1kb file when saved to the harddisk.
All the other datalogs are okay.

I've tried to re-export the datalog file on numerous attempts but still no luck.

I'm starting to think this is a FPM glitch. Anyone else had this issue?

Thank you.

Yeah, this happens once in awhile with FP. I've been using all of the builds since I got it in 2011, and had corrupt logs from time to time regardless of build. You can send the corrupt file to Hondata. They will try to recover the data, and send it back to you. However, I only bothered to do it once.

Thanks for ur feedback
I ended up redoing the datalog. What a pain in the ass.
I'll make sure I check the file size each time I download a datalog moving forward.

quick update:

i data logged several calibrations last night. on 3 separate occasions, FPM downloaded blank files
the files exist on flashpro but FPM downloads a 1kb file.
so i now datalog for a few seconds first and then do it the second time. this seems to prevent the blank files as they generally seem to be happening on the first attempt.

researching further online reveals that this may be a common problem. hopefully Hondata address this issue.

Then you probably haven't done very much datalogging with Flashpro. I've easily done 100+ hours of datalogging with my Flashpro. I usually get a corrupted log for every 25 good logs. The problem IS common among other users. The laptop and/or software has nothing to do with the problem. The data is getting corrupted on the FP.

You're sure they will resolve it ASAP? This is Hondata we're talking about. Good luck with that.

are you using the BETA version by any chance?
i was recommended not to use it as it tends to play up more often.
its frustrating when you go through the effort of datalogging and end up with a useless file.

I've had the problem with both official and beta releases. More so on some releases than others, but I wasnt keeping notes. Just accepted the fact that a log would screw up now and again.
