[QUOTE=H22toF20,Nov 23 2010, 05:05 PM]Maybe I'm the only one that does this, but I drive like a normal person, until I decide it's play time.

If you're hitting VTEC daily driving, you need to get your foot out of the gas and not shift so high. I shift at 3.5k max, usually 2.5-3k depending on the gear. I find that I'm still keeping up with everyone else and I get 26mpg mixed driving.
That sounds boring. I usually shift mine @ 4k-4500rpms. I find the car likes it quite a bit.

I tried the whole shifting uber low thing. 2-3k and i was a turtle getting smoked right and left by everyone.

Wow, 950 mBar is pretty damn high. There are days that my MAP doesn't even hit 950 at full throttle.

Thanks you very much for teaching me how I should drive my car…Obviously I can learn a lot from you…
When you actually have an engine management tip that you would like to share with us it will be my pleasure to participate in a friendly & constructive manner to your post, until then…
Are you really that ignorant? Read the last sentence in the post you quoted.

And I wasn't telling you how to drive your car. Just stating a more mature way to drive and increase gas mileage.
