In the united states there is an emissions warranty. It all depends if Canada has the same rules. Also if you have any safety equipment issues those are lifetime such as a seatbelt.

EPA reference.

^in Canada, Honda does not honor the US warranty. If you are close to the border you should drive your car to the US to get the work done at a US dealership. My friend with an '08 did this. The dealer declared that his car was a "Grey Market" vehicle (originally US vehicle, taken into Canada) and originally said they wouldn't warranty it, but he made an appointment with them anyways and they fixed it for him. He did need to provide a US address to the dealer though.

I doubt anyone is going to verify that the address you provide is real. Just find out what a real zip code is, then go with "2412 Bogus St."

honda told me i needed a battery and it was flagging a code; they werent sure if the o2 was just low voltage making the sensor readings invalid or if it was genuine. so i got a new battery. i ran it empty once while doing the audio install; sounds like i might have done a bit of damage? oh well, it's better now.

summary: new battery and o2 sensor, no CEL.

MACR88 was 100% right, I was getting that code until I replaced the A/F sensor before the CAT and now no codes for two weeks, I was getting the code every startup before. The car also runs better.
